The Property Appraiser’s office is now taking applications for homestead, seniors, and many other various exemptions. The deadline for filing for the 2010 tax year is March 1, 2010. You may file in person, online, or pick up a ‘grab and go’ packet and return it to our office at your convenience.

Osceola County - Osceola County Property Appraiser Katrina Scarborough is pleased to announce the flexibility of applying for property tax exemption(s), a tax estimator and the ability to search Tangible Personal Property on-line from our website at www.property-appraiser.org.

Your August TRIM (Truth in Millage) notices should be sent to each property owner in the county.  Read more about TRIM notices in this story.

Here in the Property Appraiser’s office we are busy collecting sales and property information to efficiently place market values on your property. Our preliminary tax roll is due to the Department of Revenue on July 1, 2009. Until that time, our values are ‘working values’.
